POE2 0.2.0 Demolisher Support Gem does not work with spears

I've put the mentioned support gem into the throw and then into stab main spear skill. I performed multiple attacks on enemies with armour and nothing happend. Although you've got 50% chance to break enemy armour it does not apply.

Hi, you need a skill/support gem that explicitly states you break armor.
For example, if you use the support gem "splinter" you'll actually break some armor, then Demolisher modifier "more" will apply. |

Thank you! You were right. Now it's working. Splinter gem did the work.
