This Hammer of the Gods change... WHY!?!?!?
I can't even use it during a normal boss fight now. If it isn't a boss I can heavy stun, I never get to use it at all. My tactics, options, and DPS are severely impacted. Glory is a remarkably stupid mechanic. If you insist on it, let Glory increase its damage potential or do something else that makes it worth building like aftershock enhancing, or let Glory build off of the amount of stun you've generated, or just revert the change entirely. Supercharged Slam is already useless af because armour/life is too squish to stand still and charge that VERY slow charge up outside of a heavy stun, so now warrior has ZERO big hit options (it genuinely doesn't seem to even do better damage than simply Rolling Slam over the same chargeup time and it has more damage gems than my RS right now). I guess it's all armor break into sunder now.
And yall did nothing useful to fix armour/life's survivability problems in general, either. Going from 70% to 77% armor at level 91 while using Rolling Slam from one support gem isn't going to make the difference I need if hard enough physical hits can still ignore, penetrate, or overwhelm my defense when I otherwise require 0.1% top rolled gear in every slot to get above even 4k health. I agree, Glory makes no sense and never should’ve existed.

My guess is it was to prevent chronomancer from spamming it. If that's the case it's bullshit imo

My most loved skil in PoE2 but now I cant timing to use it.
Dont know what GGG are thinking. The game even in suggested Brink support gem to increase damage when target is heavy stun, but by the time HotG dropped, the boss has already recovered from heavy stun. Its just so dumb ![]() |

Hammer of the Gods is an example of why big ass cooldowns shouldn't be in the game. It's a mandatory skill for all mace builds because of how much damage it does in a huge burst. Mandatory is bad in RPGs.

The best thing I ever did with my warrior was avoid combat entirely and invest in a totem build. Ironic that one of the easiest ways to play warrior is to never actually engage the enemy.. lol

" you can lower the time it takes for the hammer to drop by investing into reduced skill duration. you can use a support gem that does the same thing too |

My Hammer supposedly does 44k base damage but when I do drop it on a boss it basically does nothing. Why?
A simple mace strike does more damage than the hammer does. Make it make sense please. |
