Huntress - Amazon - Bleed

I started as huntress with bleed skill, and got to act 3 normal so hit and run was expected as playstyle, but as soon you get to boss fight there is a few problems. Area is small so you can not kite, boss is ranged so it will not follow you and my favorite is that boss with small window for melee character to snuck in hit or two before you are dead or boss hit a phase (for example Chimera - jumping off and being immune). And on the other hand there is no possibility near huntress skill tree start to get constant resourse of Aggravated Blood, Crimson Dance is excluded because it sets bleed duration to 1s and spear bleed skills have low damage value and can not cause high damage bleed to be justified for picking up. Even after patch where monsters had reduced life - bleed felt too bad. Scaling damage over time from hit is ok but make so that skill does higher hit then base attack. Yes, I know that Rake does more damage when my character travel a distance to the enemy but it work one in four times. Reason for me and why I think it is happening is that I am lockstep mode and playing from Serbia makes some of information to get lost while traveling to Frankfurt/Amsterdam/London, in other word to much distance (in case you want to stress test it but I don't ya will).
I do not mind to have a slower fight but it was too much punishing for me to try again and level another character, maybe in week or so when ya DO something "meaningfull". I completed Act6 with 25hour 43 minute and bleed it's just tickle boss like now i play at tier 3 it's so fk hard to play like 20 min to finish map
I might refund passive to join lightning spear gang maybe it's the way out hope they buff bleed more Sry if my eng is not that good XD |

" Yup, and you don't need to spec out much, just take Lightning Spear with Scattershot - Volt - Caltrops and you would have full screen clear with same gear and passives! |

bleed is 15% of the final hit dmg.
so scaling hit will scale bleed. it s very different from poe1 |

I agree with Bleed being lackluster at the moment. Here's how I play :
Current setup Amazon level 72 - Asc. spec in Crit strike and Predatory instinct, 300 pdps Helix Spear (Character name : Bleedel) Active skills - I play Rake with Deep cuts, Heavy swing and Brutality as a 4-link. I had to spec +6 strike range total to make it bearable to clear packs with that skill, and the bleed damage is pretty inconsistent, despite heavy investment in bleed magnitude and access to aggravate (explained after) - I use Spear throw as a better way to apply bleed on bosses. Combining the base damage of the skill and the bleed leads to better DPs overall and allows for a dynamic playstyle of dodging and playing range, which is pleasant. - I use a swap to Crossbow for Armour piercing round (4-link with Rupture for aggravate, Martial Tempo and Demolisher). This further increases physical damage, which eventually increase Spear throw's damage on bosses and for better bleeds + easy access to aggravate. - As a payoff, I use Blood Hunt (4-link with Bloodlust, Pursuit and Close Combat). I was expecting more of a payoff. I often feel that I simply "clear the existing bleed amount" and do a tiny more, I'm ofter wondering if it's worth it. - I use Disengage. I like the combo with Rake, dashing in and out of packs to try to apply as much bleed as possible. Disengage is a better movement skill than dash most of the time. I use Maim, pinpoint crit and shocking leap for a pretty easy application of 20% shock. Passive skills - Bloodhound mark with Singled out, nice to improve stunning bosses. The explosion isn't the most important, pretty anecdotical - Herald of Blood with Magnified Effect, Phys. mastery and Execute. I really feel like the damage is pour, I'm not able to even slightly rely on the skill to finish clearing fully-bleeding packs. Feedback I feel like I'm spec-ing in bleed magnitude, accuracy, crit and overall damage as much as possible, leaving only a few points for block nodes on my spear tree and better break with my crossbow tree. I feel like scaling of bleed is currently sub-par, and the clearing potential of the overall bleed skills for the huntress is lackluster. Here are a number of avenues I'd potentially explore : - I'd improve the base scaling of bleed. Trying 20% instead of 15% seems reasonable. - Aggravate could be a better payoff than simply inflicting the bleed damage of moving target even if idle. Against highly or consistently moving enemies, this isn't even a payoff at all. I would add a more damage multiplier bonus to bleed on top of it, given it's a pretty hard payof to consistently reach as the moment (or you have to suffer a huge penalty, like Crimson Assault) - Rake needs better base damage and potentially scaling AOE (+4 base, scaling to +8). - Blood hunt is pretty difficult to aim during movement and against quick enemies. Instead of targeting only one enemy, blood hunt could detonate all bleeds in a small area around the impact point. - BUG - It seems like chaining quickly Bloodhunt THEN Rake prevents Rake from applying bleed. It seems like Bloodhunt is applying some kind of bleed immunity that hinders the dynamic nature of the build (Bloodhunt / rake / Disengage combo) - Herald of Blood could have better base / scaling damage. I especially think the damage should have a better scaling based on the blood loss amount. Also, Blood hunt and Herald of Blood seem to have negative synergy: blood hunt is removing bleed when killing a monster, preventing Herald of Blood from triggering as well, I think the herald should still trigger. - Armor break could either apply to all physical damage, or have an buffing effect on subsequently applied bleeds (I'd love the 2nd solution). - As a compensation, I'd probably make it harder for skills that don't natively inflict bleed to reach 100% chance to bleed. I was often afraid to unspec chance to bleed nodes that would hinder Spear Throw, only to find out I'm still at 100%, and the only downside is having to use Lacerate. Misc. feedback - CRASH - Disengage often freezes the game / potential client crash ? I often reboot the game when that occurs (almost once per map during end game) - BUG ? - Monsters affected by Proximity tangibility should still bleed in my opinion Thank you GGG for the continued support and for the crunch on the POE2 league !
