Chimeral Wetlands Infinite loading screen (Dawn of The Hunt 0.20)

A bud of mine has a character who has been locked into an infinite loading screen for chimeral wetlands and nothing we do can fix it. The physical character is there and we see him in the instance however he is unable to move and his screen is loading indefinitely.

We have tried restarting the game, restarting the console, restarting the instance, re-installing the game, clearing the cache, deleting saved data, re-syncing, switching gateways, switching to different characters, switching to different profiles, switching to different party leaders, switching to different platforms, turning off various settings such as but not limited to ("disable crossplay" "auto log out" "dynamic culling" "upscale mode" "lighting" etc.), letting the instance sit for an hour both with the game closed and with the game logged in. We even went as far as trying to log on poe 1 and remove the cosmetics from the character in hopes the server would some how catch up

At this point we have just decided to roll new characters but this is a pretty nasty bug to contend with. Please find the issue soon, I sadly won't be rerolling a third time

Edit: We had an epiphany and tried bringing monsters over to kill him while he was loading and then letting them kill me as well. this caused the instance we were getting stuck in to reset some how and was able to load in. Ridiculous it took all this just to continue playing

Exact same issue, logged out there last night, now I cannot access the character.

If your character gets stuck in chimeral wetlands try and use splitscreen character to load into his zone

Same issue here cant play my char after i got disconected in that zone list night.

I am experiencing this too. It's now been almost an hour since the bug occured. I cannot log in to my character.
I tried re-logging, restoring licenses. No luck.

I tried the couch co-op method and now I am stuck on the clearfell loading screen. It's been nearly 8 hours.
This bug is not mentioned in the "known issues" let alone listed among the priority issues.

This just happened to me. Just loaded chimera wetlands then I logged out and logged back in and got the infinite loading screen. I quit and restarted the game multiple times, deleted my save data - still the same. The initial problem that caused me to attempt to log out and log back in was that my gear suddenly stopped registering - my minions disappeared. When I got character details I noticed that some gear pieces weren't registering - no error due to stat requirements or anything just my stats not registering. I equipped and unequiped my shield and my stats didn't change and I was suddenly mission a bunch of resists from my shield. I tried to relog and got the infinite loading screens.

Edit: the suggestion of someone earlier in the thread to try co-op on a second controller worked for me. It forced both characters to load in my hideout and now it all seems to be working. Still there's obviously something weird about chimeral wetlands since multiple players have had this bug in the same location.
