I am done for now. 0.2 is not enjoyable.

I am not trying to be dramatic here and I know that this isn't particularly helpful. But i've tried to provide meaningful feedback all the way throughout 0.1 but I am just not finding it worth my time to play 0.2 with how incredibly slow and boring the game currently is, and that isn't even mentioning the stability issues which I am sure will get fixed rather quickly.



But this isn't something just removing some flat hp on monsters will fix with your upcoming hotfix. It seems you're just committed to making it this way and I don't find that enjoyable sadly.


Hope 0.3 is better.

So this is not something you enjoy, the game is clearly heading that way (that A LOT of people enjoy), yet you need to make a post and hope that 0.3 will somehow switch directions so YOU would enjoy zoom-zoom one button mash whole screen explode and rest of the people wouldn't.

There is a reason why PoE 1 stays fast and PoE 2 goes slow.. Because if this wouldn't be different enough, there would be no reason to keep both games.

(+1 for Remove xp loss on death [among many things].

Just feels like it encourages the "zoom zoom 1-shot" playstyle even more, so that's a Big Fat Nah.)

0.2 feels like it's moving a step forward towards more "SSF-like" Balance, as opposed to Standard/Trade -- personally, that's a win to me (longer-term sustainability, growth, etc).

Steam reviews, streamers, forum posts here and on Steam, anger on the subreddit, and hotfixes already nerfing some of this stuff, all completely disagree with this sentiment. This game isn’t fun for a lot of people now, and many of those people are casuals who GGG needs to keep updates coming. I have no idea why anyone with a working brain would defend this dog water patch and current state of the game. It’s mind boggling.

Its not about zoom-zoom - its something completely different - as the hotfixes approve.

All non-unique monsters have less life tapering from 100% to 75% of what they had between levels 8 and 15. All monsters between level 15 and 46 now have exactly 25% less Life. All monsters between level 46 and 64 now have less life tapering up from 75% to 100%. This results in all monsters in Endgame having the same Life as before this change. Their thresholds for Crowd Control and Ailments have been adjusted proportionately by the same amount.
Rogue Exiles have had their Life reduced by 40% (on top of the change above).
The "of the Hydra" (Life Regeneration) Monster Modifier now only appears at Level 65+.

So you're pretty much alone with your elitist opinion and inflated ego. People want to have fun with a game, especially when it comes to the early campaign and early game.

Right now the game is death.
We will see soon countless patches and hope they will back on track.

Some people just can't conceive this current developing team just CAN'T deliver and is lost on their "vision" of a souls-like isometric game where you MUST spend 2 minutes "fighting" a trash white pack and HAVE exp loss, HAVE 1 try per map, don't be able to properly function in a multiplayer team, etc.

I had quit this game since January because of them... now I got back to test aaand... I think I'm done. Will chill out and wait for Last Epoch mid April season because currently this game is utter trash.

Wonder how many quit POE1 a few years ago to wait and play POE2. I'm one of them. POE1 died for this so hope it's good enough on release. I'm done for now. Not going to slog though a beta update.
