Bad performance (fps drops 120-15) when moving

i got through the first zone hoping it was just that causing issues... its not. i downgraded all my settings to (potato) quality despite having a good rig and the frames continues to flop around like a dead fish when i moved.

i also went through and individually toned down settings. i was on the edge about trying the 0.2 version and decided i would try it until it frustrated me... whelp congratulations it took all of 20 minuets (mostly me messing with settings)

... and yes i also tried changing servers... same results.

Good thing they dropped hot fixes for micro transactions instead of something silly like base line acceptable performance.

I was having this same issue and disabled Nvidia Reflex. It seems to have helped.

I'm no longer able to use any Upscaling options. Used to be able to use FSR. The game (last night) ran at a consistent 100fps. Now it has trouble going above 60fps. I don't know exactly what changed, but it is very different from last night.

And no, I have never used Nvidia Reflex, it is turned off. I have a Radeon graphics card, a 7900XTX

Same issues here - I have a decent rig but it feels like the game is recompiling shaders all the time, causing massive fps drops before quickly returning to normal. For me, this happens whenever something 'new' appears, like an effect, etc.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Running a RTX 5070 Ti and the video lag is BAD BAD BAD lol. All my drivers are updated, not sure what the problem is, wasn't having any issues prior to servers going down this afternoon.

It's the same for me also, tried many different settings, changed server, i don't use reflex, i have a very good rig but my fps dropped around 35 fps since last night...

Same here. I move and fps low to 15.

Same thing was happening to me

13900k / 3090ti

Disabled NVidia Reflex and the problems went away. seems to be a shader loading issue - Also turn off any upscaling

Switching from DirectX 12 to Vulkan solved for now
