Updated Via STEAM - CTD before Start

Hi,
I don't know if the server load is responsible but the PoE 2 program is crashing immediately after its icon appears on the task bar. This was after a restart etc when the update was downloaded. Last bumped on Apr 4, 2025, 2:21:54 PM

Happening here as well. Tried verifying files / exiting steam / restarting PC.
Got a fix: go on Users\user\Documents\My Games\Path of Exile 2 and delete poe2_production_Config.ini Last edited by aechdee#6864 on Apr 4, 2025, 2:10:07 PM

same problem, game worked before update patch, CTD after patch

Mine was crashing also until i renamed poe2_production_Config.ini
I renamed it to poe2_production_Config.ini.old and the crashing is not happening. In my case it seems to be crashing when selecting Vulkan. Also, FSR is not available under Upscale Mode any longer. (worked fine yesterday) MSI X870E Carbon WiFi, 9950X3D, Sapphire Nitro+ RX 7900 XTX 24GB, 64GB G.Skill

Imagine being forced to alter game files to even make it run after a patch. Jesus Christ GGG... Glad there are people who are able to figure this out immediately.

I also had the issue, renaming the INI solved it.
