Cheating software detected
Hello,
I launched the game for the first time in weeks a few minutes ago before the patch, it was fine although I couldn't log in due to maintenance. Game patch, validated files, launched again and it showed a warning window for cheating software and saying it's the "last warning". And before some genius says I'm cheating, I'm not even lvl 90, nor even reached T12+ maps. I'm probably one of the poorest guy on this forum. The only thing I'm running that might trigger a warning like this is ReShade with FakeHDR effect because my monitor is not HDR. Been doing that for years on PoE though... " they just did a patch and they had an old bug where people were being falsely warned. However I think reshade might trip the anti-cheat system aswell. Do what you will with this information. Stay safe! Reshade: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3736160 Bug: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3732301 |

Interesting, thanks. I see I'm not the only one then.

" To clarify the 2nd link (Bug) was an old bug and should no longer be present. |

same problem in windows 11 poe 0.1.1g using ultrawide mod PathOfExile2UltrawideRose for 32:9
deleting the mod no longer detect cheat software Its still crazy a modern game does not come with inbuilt native 32:9 support |

Unfortunately Reshade triggers the cheat software warning. And seems to be the first game to ever do so. And even more unfortunately GGG refuses to comment on the issue. Which indicates they are doing absolutely nothing about it.

" I use ReShade to help make the game look more crisp and vibrant, and to remove the atrocious white out effect. I reinstalled the game after this recent update and was met with a warning about being detected using cheating software. I only use ReShade. Guess I won't anymore. |
