Epic games launcher tells you you need to restart because of a new patch

i cant play on epic, it kick me out of the game, the launcher says its a new patch and i need to restart, but theres not a patch

I am on Epic.

I have not been able to get on since trying after the update completed. It keeps giving the same error telling me there has been an update and to restart.

I have restarted the game. Restarted Epic. Verified files. Same error.

I have been on Discord for 15 minutes. And everybody there is saying it's happening only to users on Epic Games Store like myself.

What is going on with this update?

I have the same thing.

Automatic update enabled in epic does not install any files.

There is no option to manually update.

I tried to verify the files - it did not help.

The game keeps showing version 0.1.1e and does not want to start, it only tells me to update - how the hell am I supposed to do that?

Should I delete and reinstall or what?

Each subsequent patch breaks something else.. is it possible to break something more than not allowing the game to start?

I have never seen such a broken game and early access does not explain such things that happen here after subsequent updates.

Is there any know fix for this?

Working now for me. Epic.

I deleted the game and reinstalled it, then the update was done.
I don't know if that helped or if it was fixed in epic in the meantime.
