Life Flask Effects are not removed when Eternal Youth

Life Flask Effects are removed when Unreserved Life is Filled.
BUT,When I used Eternal Youth,Life Flask Effects was not removed,even though Life and shields were full.
Will Life Flask Effects not be removed when Eternal Youth?
Is this a game mechanic or a bug?
