Notable "spike pit" should be more not increased damage
|
I tried to search the forum but I assume jagged ground is so niche no one really cares.
I don't get why that notable is: 10% increased damage, that is like half what many small passive nodes can give elsewhere. Ok maybe not half, titan ascendency skews my calculation, lets say it is just 50% less than a small passive, that still seems incredibly little for a notable. It seems to me it would make a lot more sense if it was 10% more damage which seems fair compared to 20% more damage on heavy stunned ennemies for skullcrusher. Spike Pit grants not "deal increased damage", but "enemies take increased damage".

Does that make a difference on the calculation of damage done?

Yes. It's a multiplier, just like the "more" modifier (but all sources of "enemies take increased damage" stack additively, unlike "more").

Ok thank you, I did not read the memo about ennemies getting increased damage.
That being said, what are the sources of that in POE2, the only other one I see is marked ennemies take increased damage with marked for sickness but maybe I am missing others. But on its own it is pretty much like 10% more damage then. |

" Shock, as a most common example. |

The "Intimidate" debuff causes monsters to take 10% more damage (and deal 10% less damage).

" 10% increased and 10% reduced |
