Items Disappearing Off Map

While completing two Tier 15 maps in POE 2, items that dropped from monsters disappear even though I can still see a beam of light showing me that it's supposed to be there. After leaving and coming back, I can still see the beam of light but the item can not be picked up. When the item first drops, I am able to see it and can pick it up if I go to it within a few seconds. Of course, this isn't always possible.

I'm having the same issue i have items I can't pickup I'm pretty sure 1 is a very high value item as my loot filter alarm went off when the item dropped I can make out a skull on the item but can't pick it up I'm playing on x box I have a screenshot of the problem I can understand that this is early access but this problem makes me want to quit the game guys 100s of hours to finally get a good item to drop but then can't loot it is a slap in the face

In Options, there is a setting labeled "Always Highlight". When this setting is on, item labels and some other labels (such as chests) will always be displayed.
You are describing the setting being off.

There is a controller keybind for toggling this setting on/off: L2+Dpad Right

Ok, after finding this option, it was the issue. It did get clicked off during the last mini update without me actually turning it off. Appreciate the knowledge given.

Okay that was the problem but I didn't toggle this option off so I'm assuming it happened when the patch was downloaded you may want to make a announcement that this will need to be turned back on to avoid more post like this in the future
