Crux of Nothingness is just horrid design

So, now that they finally gave us retries for fights I figured now was a good time to use this audience with a king I got lucky enough to get as a ritual reward some time ago.

Holy shit what a mistake, should have just sold it.

Explain how this boss design ever passed QA?

-A tornado is homing towards you constantly.
-Exploding frogs are jumping around the arena
-The boss creates a massive chaos damage orb that will one shot nearly all characters

...and randomly a red circle will appear on you, you can't predict when, and you are now forced to stand completely still and just soak all this damage until you die or the circle disappears for seven seconds, otherwise you are... locked in place and must stand still and soak all the damage until you die or the lock in place expires.

In my six retries I've had the red circle appear on me followed immediately by the rat tornado spawning right on top of me multiple times. Congrats, another retry down. I've had the red circle appear as frogs spawned on top of me, another respawn down.

There's no way to remove the red circle without standing still completely and just letting mechanics hit you. There's 0 counter play, each time I died there was no thinking "oh shit if I do this differently I can handle it." No way to possible soak this damage. Each death felt like "whelp, RNG got me again, red circle when I need to move, guess I'll die." Another boss who's design seems to be "don't run this fight unless you have a 50+ div build that can delete it in a few seconds." On the *lowest difficulty.*

Either I'm missing a way to not have to stand still and soak a shit ton of damage constantly or this boss is just very poorly designed like they took mechanics from an MMO without an understanding of how the design and abilities of those games make it work. Without the forced immobility mechanic this fight would be great.

With it, it's another waste of time where the longer you exist in the fight the more likely RNG will make sure you die and waste your invite.
