General question for GGG announce

Does GGG make 10+ days to show up with some kind of message or some kind announce in general ? i am asking the poe1 players just out of curiosity . Do they show up in general do they make patches and announce's for the game like per week or so ?
Is it common for them to go absent for 10+ days ? In other game's for example Baldurs gate 3 the devs was making announce's and patches every now and then maybe i am expecting too much from GGG Please enlighten me Last bumped on Jan 30, 2025, 3:30:26 AM

" For the past few years, ggg releases league, 1-2 patches for a week or two weeks, then radio silence for few months until next league with news announcing new paid support packs and running stash tab sales. So yes, GGG has not been communicating with community for years, they just know better on how to make their game. |

Also for your comment let me help you a bit , the community KNOWS what they want to play and where they want to spend ther time , IF the devs doesnt care and make ther own game they can sit down and play it with the declining numbers that the game has . To give you some numbers ( you can go and check your self also from StreamCharts ) right now the game has 90k online withe a peak of 165k , last week the population was +100K and last month +300k-400k . Maybe that can help your way of thinking and maybe can help them to fix ther game and focus more on what player need's right now and for sure that's not a stash tab sales kek |

People are still hanging on the dream GGG will be GGG from the early days, where Chris Wilson talked to people on forums, Mark talked to people on reddit(just search mark ggg reddit posts and you will see how long ago was last post and what i was about, i don't think its hard to make conclusions) and Bex was posting updates every week.
Nowadays we get Jonathan making some videos from his supervillain lair or something, idk. He should get a Persian cat for this type of setup |

As much as i don't like poe2, i would still give Jonathan benefit of the doubt. He wasn't the public face of Path of Exile(he was just a lil bit) and now he has to be in every video.
I think there should be, let's call it a grace period, for him to learn how to look and behave for this type of announcements. When Chris Wilson(previous public face of GGG) was lying his teeth out you would not care, because he came out as genuine and convincing. And he learned on the job. Still though i think Persian cat should be added, also imagine if every video started with Jonathan rotating on his char into view... |
