Curses should be support gems. Blasphomy radius should be affected by increased curse aoe.

It'll allow a great deal more flexibility. Keep the 1 second timer before the curse becomes active though. So if you go too fast, you move faster than the curse can activate. Mana cost could be a flat mana add so it retains the expensiveness on mana curses give. And add -hit damage.

That'll give curse on hit, but not too op as it limits to only one skill doing it, and you don't want your primary damage doing the hit due to the less damage + mana cost.

------------------

Blasphemy's only way to increase AoE is one support gem, the generic AoE increaser. No AoE passives anywhere increase it. No other support gems. The Curse AoE passives should work, even at a reduced effect.

Yea... This gem is designed by the same guy who designed the warrior class and mace skills.

Jokes aside, this AOE stuff is a terrible idea.
If anything automation should be punished even harder, not made more reliable.

Hands down.
Blasphemy is broken in a lot of ways. Some gems can be slotted into it, but those gems don't even work with it, which makes no sense (and causes entire builds to become bricked). Typically if a gem doesn't work with a skill, it can't even be slotted in. It just needs a lot of work. It's clunky.

Some of those gems DO work, but work in a ways that you do not expect them to work.

It may affect the skills, it may affect part of the skill, it may affect something that happens in some situation...

Some do, yes, but some don't at all and can still be slotted. Honestly, those that don't work should not be able to be slotted in. It would help immensely in not bricking characters if that were the case.

Also, there should be more detailed explanations on how those gems interact with Blasphemy. It's not explained well at all (it's very generic) and some of those gems only work in very specific ways that aren't specified. If they are going to make respec scale with level and make it expensive, they should at least be more specific about gem effects.
I don't want to be close enough to the enemies that Blasphemy requires with my Witch, turning all the curses into that would not go well.
