What does IIR/IIQ mean?

IIR - Increased Item Rarity _otherwise known as_ Rarity
IIQ - Increased Item Quantity _otherwise known as_ Quantity between the both of these you can improve your chances to find decent loot. IIQ is an overall increase to the chance that any monster will drop something (including currency like orbs, and scrolls). IIR however only effects the chance that items (weapons/armour) are more rare, ie. they are magical (blue) or rare (yellow) or unique (orange/brown) check out the mechanics thread in the Beta discussion section which (i think) talks about these and any penalties to them that being overlevelled for an area can have http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/11707 |
