Why servers just go down?

I crashed it on a delirium map, thought it was just my game that froze/crashed on detonating an expedition. Was a unique map to start but man, got to say, first time I've crashed servers.

Crashed just as I finished another citadel and a bunch of sweet sweet fragments dropped which I did pick up.. don't ya roll them back GGG :<
