People Can Continue to Enjoy PoE1 (Zoomy) Let PoE2 be Different (Tactical)

I really love the gameplay in early PoE2. As someone who's played ARPG's since D2, playing through the first Acts of PoE2 felt like magic in a way no other ARPG has. And then by endgame, it all just goes away. All the tactical combat, the crafted animations and AI of different enemies, the slowness that really let's the game breathe. This is what really got me excited about PoE2, it's what was showcased during all the previews and trailers. And then it turns out it's only 10% of the experience for anyone interested in building a character to endgame.

I know there's a lot of love for PoE1 and especially in light of this game people are appreciating how complete of an experience PoE1 is and are excited to go back to it. I see a lot of feedback that advocates for this game to be more like PoE1. I remember Jonathan stating that not all PoE1 players will enjoy PoE2 which to me implied that the gameplay style would be different. Especially since the devs have stated that they will continue to support and update PoE1 my feedback is that PoE2 should provide a non-zoomy meta and provide a different ARPG experience.

It showcased gameplay that was faster than campaign, with a clearly more powerful player with more tools. But it is not zoom, the combat is still clear and legible and engaging. As someone who enjoyed the campaign, I looked forward to the endgame in this video. If that's close to the endgame experience, with a ceiling that is a little faster for chase builds, I think that would be great.
