Blackbraid fur plate not working with fire avatar

The unique states that armour applies to elemental damage.

When pairing this with avatar of fire, wich makes all my damage elemental, resonating shield and 22-44k armour. It has no effect on damage output.

It seems it only scales with magma barrier to my knowledge.

I'm pretty sure blackbraid only affects elemental damage you take, not damage you deal.
