RMT promoting bots are getting out of hands

As the title says. If you use at some point global chat you are doomed to receive multiple private messages from bot accounts promoting RMT (which is against Terms of Service). As of today I experienced the worst state of this problem. After providing useful information for newer player asking for help in Global chat, I received 9 private messages within 15 minutes promoting RMT website. There are even more bots who just spam in global chat.

We need developers to take action. I know their hands are very busy right now, but receiving 9 private messages within 15 minutes of gameplay is very distracting.

Developers also need to punish both sides of RMT transactions, at least it will scare portion of people off participating in it. Less customers mean less sales, mean less bots who promote. This is important because in PoE 2 there are a lot of new people who come from other games where RMT is grey area. Here it is against Terms of Service and we should not tolerate such behaviour at all.

Perhaps straight ban might be too harsh and problematic because a lot of tickets will be opened, but receiving in-game mute for a period of time is somewhat fitting. In-game mute prevents a person from participating in trade since they can't message nor receive messages, eventually putting them into SSF experience. A fitting punishment with a chance for redemption. Simple mute + "your account has been flagged for participating in RMT" = no further discussing or questions asked in most cases.
