Boots Insta-Deleted Upon Wearing Another Boots (PS5)

Just completed mapping using Corpsewade Boots and decided to switch to increase movement speed to pick-up items.

When I pressed to the square button (to equip faster boots), my Corpsewade boots got deleted out of existence.
