End Game Experience Gain
XP gain in the endgame starting about 92 feels sluggish. Feels very slow to me. And basically feels bad!

Yeah, you're going to feel it in all of the 90s onwards if you are trying to push to lv 100 at all. As it was in 1, you suffer increasingly worse multipliers to your experience gains the larger the level gap between you and the monsters you are killing. They most likely are using the same scale they did in 1, or even harsher than 1's scaling given how much slower leveling feels in general in 2. But, once monster levels stop increasing (haven't reached end end game, but in 1 generally lv 85 was the cap to monster levels, so penalties kicked in low/mid 90s) each level is going to take longer and longer to achieve as that experience loss you suffer from the level gap increases.

" This is the issue, really. Maps should top out at level 90, not level 82. Would make endgame experience gains much better. |

" Ah, just now nearing the end of Act 6 finally on a character, and I just realized the few lv 85 monster maps I knew of in 1 were systems that did not make it over to 2, such as the blight infested maps. If 82 is the top level, then yeah, I can see how it's even worse in 2 than in 1, which gave you options to chase a few more monster levels. Yikes. |

" True because you cant even reliable farm lvl 82 mobs atm because you have to corrupt to get T16s and man T16 sustain does not work atm. I have like 50 corrupt T15s and like 1 T16 atm, I try to use T16s for bosses/citadels super juice as well!! |

Meh, you can get to 95 without too much poopsocking - and past that the last 5 levels do not really make that dramatic of a difference.
Look at it this way, if you had already reached level 100, what exactly would you do? Same thing you are doing now just not afraid to die? Is that better? Really 90+ you're grinding for gear and currency to increase your power rather than xp anyway. |

" Im a BIG min/maxer after 92ish I almost always dont need gear anymore and am just farming XP and endgame progression. |

There is no 5-Way in poe2, that's why the level 100 is reserved to big party play with aurabots and such.

" Cool then slap down a bunch of tablets with xp gain and run 30%+ exp maps and you'll level up just fine. |

Yup, and if EXP gains weren't so f*cking slow and tedious, then there would also be MASSIVELY less people complaining about the EXP loss.
It's a compounding issue right now, where a large majority of people who value their personal time see no reason to invest the time needed to level vs the time that's instantly lost for tiny mistakes. Then, these often aren't even mistakes, they're more like bad design and overtuning by the devs who haven't properly tested their game. |
