Mana is terrible for Ranger.

I can use 2 lightning arrows and I am out of mana. How is this tuned this poorly? Yikes.
PoE 1 is the best. PoE 2 is something.

ermmmm I never ran out of mana unless if it is the Mana Drain Donut Rare.

There are nodes in the passive.
There are Mana After kill on Rings / Quiver
There is also Mana Leech.
There is Inspiration Support gem.
There are flasks

There are also Mana Mods on gear .

The only time you really ran out of mana is using a Cast on Shock with Ball Lightning and Spamming Lightning Rod to one shot bosses, which a Thief Torment and a Mana Font support Gem in your Orb of storms really help.

I am playing a Gas Arrow build with Radiant hat and I spam my skills all the time.

Mana costs are pretty high in this game, even when investing in mana rege and efficiency talents. Part of the problem is also that leech doesn't work properly, especially with elemental damage. The other problem is that mana costs ramp up like crazy once you start getting into Lv19+ gems. It's especially apparent once you get an amulet with +1-2 skill gem levels and start using Lv21-22 skills.

I have a feeling GGG doesn't want us to 'solve' mana like we do in PoE1, where just one mana leech mod on a ring or some gloves will let us run low mana builds on nearly every character. Thing is, the "just use a lower-rank spell" design only really works in games like vanilla WoW when the decision you make for using a lower-level skill is that you trade damage for CC (e.g., Lv1 Frostbolt for slow). That doesn't work in PoE2, where your options are damage and... more damage.
You can literally just run mana remnants and never have issues.
Or use Thief's Torment and never have issues.
Or get mana on kill on quiver / bow / jewels.
Or use the inspiration support gem.
Or get reduced mana cost notables on your passive.

They just want Mana to be somewhat valuable. LA gem 23, have only few mana issues.

Get Mana on gear, maybe Mana on kill via items or jewel. Don't expect manaregen to do anything useful unless you have a huge pool of mana but I don't think you need extraregen once you hit around 1k mana as a Deadeye.

Also using a Lightning Arrow Deadeye.

I have lots of Mana Regen.
Mana Leech on weapon and on gloves.
Using a lot of passive nodes for mana regen and lower mana costs.

You can compensate for it.
