Atsak's Sight Veiled Mask and Atziri's Acuity Moulded Mits Not working for spells

Im playing hexblast witch bloodmage with 100% crit chance on hexblast, and the poison on crit from the Atsak Sight does not work, same goes for life leech is instant on for crits from Atziri's Acuity Mits.

Do those effects only apply to attacks and not spells? But it says HITS, am I missing somehting?

any update?

It's either bugged or the wording needs adjusting.
