Lightning Arrow inconsistent chain off of Zalmarath, the Colossus in The Titan Grotto

I'm using Lightning Arrow to chain into lightning rod for damage, and it seems like Zalmarath get get into some positions / states where lighting arrow doesn't chain to the lightning rods when you shoot Zalmarath directly.

Yeah agree with this. I just died on my HCSSF after entering the boss fights over 10 times trying to to something with my lightning rod based build and i tried galv fragments with crossbow, lightning arrow, etc and there was nothing i could do to trigger the electric rods.

I then tried to kill it with left click and just died.

So annoying it seems these bigger platform like bosses are super janky and unreliable. It was simply impossible for my electric build to trigger and i could do nothing but respec but i didnt have the gold as im HCSSF. super janky

Same here. I was thinking im doing something wrong.. Lightning rod is not triggering on this platform. Two days dying on this boss im about to delete the game :(
