Powertread Bugged - Gives %increased Critical Damage instead +% to Critical Damage Bonus

As mentioned in the title, the Powertread unique boots is seemingly currently bugged.

The boots are supposed to give a baseline +12% to Critical Damage Bonus per Power Charge, which is worded like the +% to Critical Damage Bonus that can roll on Martial Weapons (or be socketed into Martial Weapons), which works multiplicatively on top of other sources of %increased Critical Damage Bonus (instead of being additive).

However, when testing in game, my Critical Damage Bonus is being increased additively, exactly like how %increased Critical Damage Bonus works instead of working like +% to Critical Damage Bonus.

This is a huge substantial damage loss, as at 8 Power Charges, instead of almost doubling my Critical Damage Bonus (should be +96% to Critical Damage Bonus), my current Critical Damage Bonus just sees a net increase of about 20% (504% Critical Damage Bonus going up to about 600% Critical Damage Bonus, which is about a 96% additive increase).

Powertread is already a very niche unique item, with low defensive stats and bad movement speed. If this is indeed a bug, it really hampers the usefulness of this item, as the potential offensive upside of Power Charge stacking, is heavily reduced.

The description of that stat is currently incorrect, it's intended to be increased critical damage bonus not base. (96% additive increase in your example is the intended amount)
Nice to see some clarification as this has been bugging me also.

But sadly means I am no longer interested in this item.

The investment on the tree required in order to get up to 8 charges, (10 points if you don't consider the pathing to get to the clusters) to only receive and extra +60% crit bonus, is just not worth it. You can take those points and grab significantly more damage bonus from basic nodes on the tree.

For example, taking the 3 nodes leading up to and including 'Heartbreaking' is already +65%.

I think it would be a much more interesting unique to work the way it is worded, even if the value was nerfed down, it encourages crit stacking builds if it works that way. Otherwise it is a mediocre item, that hinders movement speed and defensive options, for a gain close to the power of 2 small passives.
Yeah. "increased" would make this already niche unique useless like almost any other. And as you said. it´s at least 10 points on the passive tree for 48% (60% if you count the +1 charge from the boots). every +% critdmg note on the passive tree is at least 15%. So it´s spending 10 points on the passive tree and using a unique to get as much as I would get with 3-4 points instead. I wonder how bad shall the uniques in poe2 be????!!! Sometimes I wonder if numbers just get determined by rolling a dice. It´s not even a niche item like this.
