Skill effect cooldown reduction????

Seriously, there is something not quite right when it comes to skilleffect durations, either they are to long, to short or on the wrong things!

Earthquake!! i need to spend enormous amount of skill points ? a support gem in order to get the 4 second default down to "manageble" 0.6s

I dont see how anyone in their right mind would play earthquake with a 4 second skilleffect duration, 0.6s is still to long.

The "hammerfall" duration from "hammer of the gods" is down to 0.5s AFTER spending tons of skillpoints to get it that point.

I dont mind spending points to get skills to feel "good", "smoth" powerful" etc, but there should be a "reasonable" amount of points spent when going from aweful to good, its this amount i have issues with, its to expensive (in my opinion) to get the skills to "feel" good.

Also the "total attack time" that doesnt seem to be able to be shortened in any way or form is an absolutly bonkers idea, the whole idea behind this game is to be able to "go nuts!" without artifical restrictions (or very few restrictions)
To basically permanently massively handicap a skill like that is backwards and makes skills affected very uninteresting to pursue (why bother??)

Please!!!!!!! give us the option to, via skillpoints, supportgems, stats on gear etc lower the "total attack time" or even better remove it totally!

Also when im here ranting i might as well also add that i think that the "1 supportgem" limit is wrong i should be able to have have multiple instances of the same type of supportgem on different skills (like gemling ascendancy, give that to all, and give the gemling something else)
