NVidia Instant Replay Causing crashes

I have been experiencing consistent crashes do desktop about once every hour or two. Often the game video freezes and then after a few seconds a full crash out (i can still hear audio resulting from skill inputs).

I usually have the Nvidia instant replay game recording feature enabled on every game, but i have noticed that if I turn of the recording the crashes stop occuring for me at least. Worth investigating.
