Avatar of fire and chaos skills

In poe2, avatar of fire converts all damage to fire. Since this doesnt specify that it doesnt apply to dot damage, it should also be fully converting skills such as essence drain or contagion to fire damage.

Currently this is not the case, only the hit damage from essense drain is converted, while the degen componants of both skills are completely removed.

This seems like a leftover issue from poe1, where avatar of fire only converted elemental damage.

Additionally currently avatar of fire does not work with archmage or similar "added as extra element damage". Ill asume it should, but also expect this to be an issue with operation order for damage calculations.

Please revise the intended function of avatar of fire, and either allow it to fully convert all damage as it states, or at least let players know its only for hit dmg.
