How do I get my last 4 ascendency points?

So, I suck at trial of the Sekimas, or whatever it was called in PoE1. I can't even remember because I never did it. There's a reason I make a build with defenses, recovery, and use flasks, because THAT'S THE EFFING GAME! Doesn't matter how powerful my character is, getting hit by traps does the same damage. So, now, I need to do lvl 68 something, 3 floors and not die. Yeah. Not gonna happen.

Or, I could do a lvl 75 something Temple of Chaos. Still crappy mechanic as it's total RnG as to whether you get good mods or not, but doable. However, the game is so unstable that the odds are that within the hour it takes to complete 10 trials, I'm gonna get kicked to character select and fail the trial.

I'm so frustrated, and it's not fun.

You pay for a carry, obviously. That seems to be the intended design, what the devs think is fun ;)

But yeah, the current system is garbage, and it needs to change.

Last time I checked - its ~50 exalts.

This is by far, the easiest way to ascend from POE 1 early access, to this day.

You ascend literally for 30 seconds...

Pay the guy, sit afk for half a minute, click the statue and boom!

I have dealt with this shit with my first char. Never again.
Screw those idiots with their idiotic mechanic that no one wanted to play.

Considering that it probably won't change in the near future, here's what you can do apart from ignoring the remaining 4 ascendancy points or pay for a carry or join a guild with people who can help you:

- Do a two-floor Sekhema trial first (if you haven't done so already) to unlock further "slots" for relics.

- Farm or buy relics with honour resistance, % increased honour, % increased defenses, bosses take % increased damage and/or bosses deal % decreased damage, merchant has 2 (or 3) additional choices. Aim for 75% honour resistance.

- Run the trials at least 10+ levels over the level of the "cookie".

- Try to run by the merchant as often as you can and collect as much water as you can on the way, so you're able to buy boons.

- Avoid forcing yourself into one room choices as much as possible. I know it doesn't always work, because sometimes it's better to risk getting a bad affliction later than chosing an obvious bad affliction right in front of you. There will be cases where all afflictions are bad.

- Get "speedy" boots. 30% movement speed helps a lot. Pick up "Hare Foot" if you can (+40% movement speed).

- Learn what afflictions you should absolutely not take and try to avoid these. There's a good overview here: https://maxroll.gg/poe2/getting-started/trials-of-ascendancy

- The 3rd floor Sekhema trial is actually doable if your build is ok but at least wait for the patch before doing the 4th, because they'll nerf the floor 4 boss, hopefully.

- Understand that some runs can suck really bad because you get the absolute worst choices. You'll find enough "cookies" to go for another try. I know, it's annoying, but Sekhemas are probably still your "best" way to go, especially for the 4th trial.

I'm in a guild, so we simply help each other if required. No need to pay for a carry.
Also, I'd prefer if they'd get rid of those trials altogether and replace it with something actually fun and engaging, but that's what we got right now...

huh? unstable game? I've been to trials like 20 times in total. Not a single crash. And it takes you an hour to finish it? you need better gear, I can farm trials. Also the ascendancy skills are so bad that the extra 2 points won't make any difference, at least not on Sorceress and Witch

I spent 4 hours getting to the 4th boss on a lvl 76 map. im lvl 86
i have 25k dps on tempest flurry, to begin with i was annihilating the boss
13k ES buffed from my boons, 60% crit, overcapped on resists, this should be possible

When he phased into the time freeze orbs all over the map and shoots out the lightning barrage in a turning circle, i tried to get around it and had no way from an unlucky orb wall spawn. i got frozen. my 13k ES dropped instantly, no time to even realise what had happened, i know people say you need armour for this boss for that ability to not hit you so hard, i had the affliction that gives 0 armour.

This is hands down the worst designed game ive ever played, i understand hard, i love a good challenge, Jamanra was exactly that.

This RNG bullcrap has done my head in. I think im done for now. i can clear t16 maps like theyre a joke, I have the HOWA gloves (traded). The game just isnt fun, the loot sucks, you just trade for gear, trade for a carry, wtf is the point. i dont have the time to bash my head against the wall to feel an ego boost.

The idea that things should be hard, but you only get 1 shot or its 4 hours down the drain is just retarded as fuck, GGG has mental issues if they think this crap is enjoyable.
Theyre gunna start bleeding players until only the POE1 players are left, once the hype dies down itll be just another game in the shadows of all the ones that respect your time and dont fuck you over.

I dont even need the 4th ascension to clear the rest of their content via facerolling. it doesnt add up :/

I can farm him with 8k ES, no armor, just blink away after his time freeze, nothing will hit you
