Minion AI - No invocation and constantly stuck on terrain/doors??

Lets be honest, everyone who plays minions in POE2 is struggling with its AI.
In the old game, the minions just teleported to you if you got too far, or you could use invocation to control them. in POE2, the minions CONSTANTLY get stuck in terrain/doors/etc. There have been so many moments where I just run around and when I try to use my command skills, nothing happens, because my skeletons are all stuck on the previous door I went through and I haven't gone far away for them to be on a re-spawn timer either. So I have to run back to my minions and usher them through the door like mentally challenged babies. Either the AI system needs a re-work, or there needs to be an invocation type skill that automatically appears when you have socketed in a minion-type skill. This issue was resolved in the first game, and I really cannot understand why the 2nd game decided that it wasn't needed? This just makes the game feel jank for minion builds. The combat might be smooth, but if you see your minions get stuck on the terrain constantly then that puts into question if we're talking about a small indie game where janky AI could be excused, or a proper Triple A game (which I presume GGG is aiming to present POE2 as) Last bumped on Jan 16, 2025, 12:48:18 AM

Especially in maps like lost tower and crypt… Frost mage will get stuck and cannot cast frost bomb… Minions too far away will force a respawn? What a crazy design… |
