Breachstone mobs not spawning

Entered breachstone map, walked on hand and the timer went off but nothing spawned or happened. Ran through whole map, not a single mob. Obviously I have done breach before and know how they work, something was bugged.
Lost half of my currency I gained through all gameplay so far to buy breach splinters and did not even have a chance to try. Together with this lost all my motivation to play. I have not logged in since, so if there is any logs available, they should be easy to find.
I understand it's early access but is there any chance to get back my breachstone?

I experienced the same exact issue, also wondering if possible to be refunded the breachstone, or equivilant in currency for example 1 divine orb or 60 exalts?

I just had the same issue on my first breachstone. I'm very frustrated. These splinters took forever to gather.
