Solution for kernelbase.dll / Event Viewer Errors

Hello guys.

Since I've started endgame and gotten into some more specific farms, I've had some weird crashes/errors pop up in Windows.

Both on my 9700k system using a 1080ti, and my 5700X3D system using a 7900 GRE.

The crashes have been random ALT-F4 type shutdowns, where it would just instantly or after a few seconds, crash to desktop, without any error pop-ups.

The only way to see the crash error, was in Event Viewer, and it would give me either a Kernelbase.dll error, which could be CPU related / corrupted system files.

The thing is though, that I tested over 10 different Windows builds, with all proper chipset drivers and stock settings.

I did every stresstest imaginable and I could not get my systems to be unstable, even with undervolts and overclocks, and TDP increases.

It made me think that it was Windows itself causing these issues, and not the game or my hardware.

So I installed CachyOS (ArchLinux) and Bazzite SteamOS (Fedora).

Bazzite is basically the Steam Deck OS with desktop environment.
Comes with all drivers you need and discord/whatever you need from the appstore.

And sure enough, the game runs properly on Linux! Using Vulkan or DX12 on newer GPUs, you will get no performance degradation.

Finally I can play the game without crashes, and have been, for a few days now!

If you don't play XBOX games, or you only play POE, and are experiencing the same issues as me, I would advice you to install any Linux distribution to see if that solves your issue.

Distributions as Bazzite, Nobara or CachyOS will run on most hardware.

It even supports Pascal cards like the GTX 1080ti and using Vulkan you will get great performance on Linux. It is especially noticeable under real intense moments like Breach and Ritual.

I've had so much frustration dealing with these crashes, losing entry tickets for the ultimatum, etc. That I just wanted to post this, incase any of you have given up and accepted the crashes, and are looking for a solution.
