Feedback in regards to upcoming patch 0.1.1 > Currency Drops

A lot of feedback has been answered and will be fixed so it will be fun to see how things will be after the patch drops. One thing I felt like was not talked about enough both in the video and in the stream which is "Currency drops". Keep in mind that I also talk from a SSF perspective, so I don't have that luxury to simply trade items for currency. But, never mind that. I actually want to use the currency to roll the slot machine on current gear. But, currently there are a few currency drops that are far to uncommon: 1. Chaos Orbs. While it does drop occasionally it just doesn't drop often enough and it feels very limiting in what you can do. I would like to see Chaos orbs be more in line with Exalt drops. Maybe not 1:1 but close to that wouldn't be bad. 2. Divine Orbs, I don't know what is going on with this but I been straight up from tier 1 maps all the way to tier 15 maps (multiple weeks -> 0 divine drops). And I have about 45 rarity on my gear + 20% from charm on rare/uniques. I could be very unlucky but I feel like these things hardly drop at all. I feel like they should be rare drops, but currently they are too rare unless maybe you have those ultra insane end-game setups that some people run, where they get 10 divines in a single map... but for the vast majority of normal people out there... these things almost don't exist. 3. Anulment Orbs same as with Divines, though they do drop a bit more often then divines, but they hardly exist as well. They should drop more often as they are useful for the "slot machine" crafting. 4. Greater / Perfect Jeweler orbs, earlier I mentioned that Greater jeweler orbs also have extremely low drop rate. I kind of withdraw that statement. I feel like they drop too late in the progression of maps overall but they drop enough around t11+ that if you play a bit you'll get enough of them to use on your gems. But perfect jeweler orbs... On my character I have currently 189.8 hours played. I have seen 0 perfect jeweler orbs so far. I mean... ?? C'mon seriously? How about you enable a recipe to do Jewelers -> Greater Jewelers -> Perfect Jeweler? It doesn't have to be 3:1 it could be 9:1 or 12:1 or something but at least this should resolve NOT getting this at all. I feel like Perfect Jewelers and Divine Orbs in its current state are T0 items (PoE1 terms). Its equal to finding a headhunter in the wild... Surely this is not as intended? " I think they kneejerk nerfed the chaos orb droprate in favour of exalts because at the time exalts were perceived to be more useful, only now with everyone in higher gear, chaos has overtaken it in usefulness (especially for waystones) but they're too rare to use in anger " I must have the worst luck, I've done about 50 T15 maps and still yet to see a greater drop |

" " Yeah, I would say people have different experiences but I have played well over 800 maps now and they drop at a somewhat decent pace, but take in mind I also play with around 45% rarity on gear and +20% from the charms for rares and sometimes (not always, just random) you also get +rarity on the maps/precursors so they it goes to around 100-150% (current theory is that 150 is the soft cap more or less). I guess you would at that point experience those drops a bit more. But even then I still have yet to see a divine orb though LOL :D Anyways its a bit RNG but thats why I kind of hope they would add a recipe where you can do 9 or 12 jeweler orbs into a greater and then into a perfect or something, makes all those jeweler orbs atleast have some value. I have farmed 250 hours of maps with 250+ rarity. About half of that was with the atlas mod for currency/sockets etc. Farmed plenty of ilvl 82 grass biomes. 0 perfect jeweler orbs.
Currency balance in this game is (working as intended) a complete joke |

They need to decouple currency drop rate from gear affix, it creates a vacuum for players behind the curve
They saw the problem and fixed it in PoE1, hopefully they'll do the same here |
