Suddenly lost the ability to pick up items, use abilities, or use town portal.

I've had some instances before where I suddenly can't attack for a couple seconds, but this time my character is completely stuck.
I can still walk around, but I can't attack, I can't pick up items, I can't use town portal.
My abilities do nothing, clicking on items does nothing, and when I click the town portal button, it says "you cannot use a portal at this time"
I've been stuck like this for several minutes now.
I can still type in chat and people can see my messages, I can use all of the menus just fine, I can switch weapons.
I saved out a video of it, but I'm not sure if there's any way to attach it to a post here (sorry I'm new).
I'm not really sure what put me in this state. It happened to moment I completed a map, but it's never really happened like this before. I assume I'll just be able to relog and resume play, but it's a pretty rough but to run into.

This has been happening to my friend regularly -- I thought he was crazy! -- but it just happened to me too.

I was on Savannah when the game lagged very badly ~1 fps for a few seconds. After the lag subsided, I was no longer able to pick up any items, interact with rituals or use the town portal. I was able to open a portal, just could not interact with anything at all.

While this was happening I could still clear the map and after ~2-5 minutes I was suddenly able to interact with items again.

I am on PS5. My friend has had this happen about three times while we were grouped. He is on PC or steam deck. His connection is very flaky and he is often lagged to the point where he can't see the game, and every time we can recall this happening to him he had just experienced severe lag.

Curious if OP experienced lag when the interact issue occurred too.
