Hello Exile Team,
First of all, I want to thank you for the incredible work you’re doing with Path of Exile 2—it looks amazing!
I’m writing to ask if it’s possible to include a feature that allows players to import item filters directly via text input or another method that doesn’t rely on accessing local game folders. Currently, the system that requires opening a specific folder to add filters is impossible to use for those of us playing on cloud platforms like GeForce NOW, where accessing local files isn’t an option.
I know cloud players might not make up a huge portion of the community, but even a small quality-of-life feature like this would make a massive difference for players like me. It would truly enhance our experience and remove a significant source of frustration.
Thank you for considering this request! Keep up the great work—I’m eagerly awaiting the launch!
Best regards

Filters on POE1 work in a handful of ways. You can follow filters here on the site and it's added to your filter in game without downloading it. You can create and then link filters to your account using Filterblade run by Neversink. Or you can do the drag and drop into your folder.
At this moment GGG hasn't given us a way to follow filters for POE2, so that removed the website and adding filters through account connection. I think this is mostly because filters haven't been fleshed out and Neversink hasn't finished the base filters, but hopefully once he does GGG can then allow us an easier way than downloading like what we have in POE1. I am not sure this is a priority as we can still download filters but I think before EA is done this feature will be added.
I am not worried as Neversink is almost done with the base filters and we should be seeing some movement on GGG's end once Filterblade is updated.

Thank you very much for your comment. I went to their website and there is some promising news about the PoE2 release. Can't wait for that; the number of times I died by clicking on something gray is dramatically increasing in maps...
