Melee attacking and blocking

I don't like how melee attacking is impacted by blocking in POE2. When you are blocked by an enemy and you attack an enemy behind it, nothing happens which often is long enough of idling for you to be killed. A typical case is some little bug in a doorway that you can't seen while you attack the larger enemy behind it that you can actually see. This required to click around your character several times until you randomly hit the bug next to you. This problem is emphasized when you have ground effect going on an you can hardly see anything at all. Unless you attack the enemy closest to you, you can be stuck without attacking at all.

A typical case for this is in breach when you are surrounded by dozens of monsters and instead of attacking the monster right next to you, you attack the one behind it. Nothing happens. You then have to search for a monster that is next to you and click it again. In a fast-paced game where being surrounded is a big problem already, this sometimes is just the second too much that kills you.

In my case I'm using Ice Strike. There are several threads in the forum where users complain about Ice Strike not working sometimes. This might be related to this issue.

Please GGG come up with a solution for that. And please enable it that we can push little monsters out of the way. We are pushed around by monsters all the time yet we ourselves can be blocked by beetles in doorways.

Have noticed that the auto targeting likes to target enemies you are moving away from.

Which makes it fun when you move towards one you want to kill only for you to turn around and slap the air.
