Controller Disconnect or AFK LOGS YOU OUT?!

I like to give myself sometime before making decisions in poe2. I also use a PS4 controller with a cord for my computer. The connection can be sometimes spotty and if i jostle the cord the wrong way i will disconnect the controller.

Why on earth does the game log me out IMMEDIATLY?!

I was literally watching a video to decide which ascendency i wanted after completely the challenge and boom AFK disconnect.

Or i will do the trial and my controller disconnect for 1 second and i get disconnected.


This is ridiculous game design and such an oversight.


Just revert to pc or just let my character stand there and die until i reconnect the controller.

Please extend the afk timer while you are at it. I have a baby that i have to tend to once in awhile and disconnecting after a speed run diaper change doesn't work when its so short. Very frustrating.

I just started having this issue, even after toggling off the "auto log out" option in the game settings. As soon as I go AFK, the game is logging me out.
