The Ziggurat boss fight..
Why do the adds have to stand in the degen lazers? Stupid fight
Also... rolling T17's until somewhat desirable due to all the crazy mods is just tedious. Why... because rather than coming up with something on your end you figure just make all the players spend countless minutes rolling maps? I agree that the Zig boss fight sucks big time. I never know whats going on, its just a big mess of black and green graphic noises. Have tried adjust my monitor contrast/coloring, as well as in-game graphics settings. Contrast helped a bit, but anything not a video game looks terrible on my main screen now haha.
Solution: I run Sanctuary maps As for rolling T17 Maps, you're late to the party dude. This has been covered ad nauseam in dozens of forum/reddit post. You feel how you feel about it, but in case you are open to changing your mind, here are some reasons it is good and some tips: 1. Chaos sink, supports healthy economy. 2. Difficult mods support build problem solving and late end-game progression goals. 3. Mod/Reward variance creates an additional game outcome to get excited about. (hitting +300% currency with mods you can run, etc, is more exciting than some random t2 unique drop in my opinion) Tips: -Roll in batches, not single maps. Get 5 or 10 or 100, whatever your budget/scale is and do them in a stash tab. -Use Regex, or multiple regex, in the search bar of tab when rolling. It doesnt have to be perfect, just needs to reduce the number of crappy maps you stop to examine. Personally, I use 4 Regex. The first one highlights maps with a set minimum for packsize/quant/rarity and requires either a currency or scarab roll. Leave this set and roll youre entire set of maps until everything is highlighted. The second regex greys out maps that have mods I cant/wont run, this lets me not waste time reviewing those. With 2nd regex on, I go through the group and pick out the maps that look good, considering the reward potential vs difficulty. Those all get set aside. Repeat step 1 and 2 until you have a sizeable amount of maps to run. The 3rd regex is for deli orbing the maps. I apply a deli orb to every map, but i apply extra deli orbs to maps as long as they dont have mods that increase life or energy shield. The 4th regex is just for mods that require me to change any of my gear/passive setup. Currently I just use this to detect any ele reflect maps. Those still get run, they just need a flask/pantheon swap, soI run those all together to avoid any surprises and save time. -Dont skips mods that are just a bit annoying. No one likes volatile cores, but they add great reward modifiers and just take some practice to learn to dodge before looting. (mods have specific reward mods assigned, this was a game changing discovery for me, full list of mods and rewards in the poedb link) Rare Monsters have Volatile Cores 31% increased Quantity of Items found in this Area 19% increased Rarity of Items found in this Area 7% increased Pack size 78% more Scarabs found in Area https://poedb.tw/us/Tier_17_map#ModifiersCalc I hope this helps you enjoy T17's more. I initially hated them last league and suffered through them for the loot. But after the changes to rolling them and mod nerfs, along with ironing out an effecient system to prep them, they are also quite enjoyable (usually) “Freedom is what we do with what is done to us.” Last edited by Piousqd#0073 on Jan 7, 2025, 12:21:38 PM

Oh and the last tip, which may not be helpful because it requires real money and may not be for sale anymore,
-Get the Trial Master hideout decoration. He counts the number of Chaos and Vaal orbs you have used while in your hideout. Watching that number go up from rolling maps has brought be alot of unexpected joy. I actually look forward to my next batch of rolling maps, and have gotten pickier about my map reward rolls, just because I want to see how big I can get the number by end of league. Genius on GGG's part. “Freedom is what we do with what is done to us.” Last edited by Piousqd#0073 on Jan 7, 2025, 12:17:38 PM
