Early Access Discussion - Will current items + stash + char be wiped at official release? - Forum

I know POE1's purchased stash tabs are kept over to POE2. But wonder if items in EA league will be kept. Last Epoch has a solution for this, which is seasonal stash. - New season -> new stash. Old stash is kept as archived + remove-only. - Items can be brought over from past season -> new season. - You can stay in old season and play old chars, grind old content with old stashs + items. However, POE2 has EA vs. official release, plus multiple hack/exploit happening so I guess EA's items and chars will be kept as archived. And won't be moved to Official league. " Will there be wipes during Early Access? No, there will not be a wipe. We will do new leagues but none of your characters will be wiped, they will just go to a league called Early Access (so they will never be in Standard). In some cases characters in old leagues might be somewhat broken by balance changes though. After launch the "Early Access" characters will still exist. From the FAQ. nothing moves over to new leagues besides MTX stuff. EA characters will have their own realms on release. At some point down the road(like 3rd or 4th league after release) I'm sure all the EA chars/items will just get moved to standard as it wont matter than, most ppl will have probably deleted them at that point anyway.
