Some Feedback on the EA State of PoE2

Hi Guys and hopefully GGG,

I am a Poe-Enjoyer with over 25k Hours into the Game, since Prophecy League in PoE 1. I had my Vacation since EA Start in Poe2 and i played almost the entire Time about 6-10h a Day.

Hopefully you get the Context of my Sayings, because i am from Germany so my school english had to do the job here. :D


Before i go into the "Hot-Topics" here are some FUNDAMENTLY Questions i have for GGG:

WHY we are missing so many Quality of Life Features from Poe 1 in Poe 2?

- shift+Control & Click or what ever combinatiion it was for stashing all the same stacks of currency into the stash/trade window/inventory?

- hold alt and hover over currency in the trade window and you see the hole amount displayed?

- Minion player Invokation(Recall) skill?

- 6 Portals? Let me Use them . Why is Poe2 a Rogue-Like Game now???
If i want that i would play hardcore!

Its annoying for learning Pinnacle Bosses, if you only have one try after Hours/Days of farming for the frags. You are forced to play a one shot OP Build if you wanna do them.

- where is the Waystone Stash-Tab???

- why appears the fog of war new on the mini map, when i crash?

- why are league mechanics not permanently marked on the Mini map, only when you are near them??? The maps are Huge, searching for 11 breaches is annoying backtracking, same for rituals etc.

- why can i gamble my gold at Alva in Act3/Endgame town, but not at Alva in my Hideout?

- why cant you search all the mods from items in the trade site? You can do it at the Poe 1 Tradesite for most of them, but why not here? its NOTHING NEW. I Dont get it.

It´s EA i get that guys, but PoE2 is not GGG first Game, most of the things exists. They dont have to invent the wheel completly new. It´s already there PLEASE use it.

Now the "Hot-Topics" , where you can say, it´s because of Early Access like Temporalis duping etc. :

Balance Things:

0. Corruptions in Gems dont affect the Gems (Like the +1 Corruptions)

1. Warrior/Mace Skills:
Havent seen such a shit show in a long time, sorry.
Almost all Skills from him dont match the content in the Game.
Earthquake even slower / more delayed as in Poe 1.
Sunder shit Place locking Animation like the Meteor Skill.
And so on and so on. Please Make his Skills instant Like Poe 1 Skills. Otherwise unplayble for most of us with the current Content.

2. Summoner/Minions:
- Invocation Skill must come to PoE2 asap.
- Minion AI is not very smart... They get Stuck, dont attack the same Target etc..
- where are spectres? but it rumors they will come..

3. Sorceress
- Delete The Double Shock Node. Make it Increased Magnitude or so. So you can get to a single 50-70% Shock. Not two times 70-90% Shock for 140-180 more damage on everything.

4.Mercenary/Gemblin:
The double attribute magnitude node is strong, but he has nothing else really so its okay at the moment.

Other classes/Builds i don´t played, so i dont know.^^

Skills/Passives/Builds:

Mind Over Matter:
Reduce it from 100% Damage damage taken from Mana to 70/60/50%.
You have % Damage taken from Mana On Jewels and also in the Tree.
Let us Reach 100% with Jewel and Node Investment, but not with one singular Keystone.

Archmage:
OP? Needs to be removed? BIG NONO.
You cant scale Spellsdamage properly without it. No Flat Damage for Spells on Items etc.

But you have to Cap it.
With a 21/20 Archmage you get 9% More damage (Lightning as extra) per 100Mana.
You get easy 5000 Mana at the moment, thats 450% more damage .
Thats a Tooltipp change from 10k to around 50-60k. Thats a bit much i guess.

I am a Fan of i invest alot i get eventually OP at some Point.
But thats only a Level 20/20 Aura with a +1 Mastery support Gems to let me Kill everything.

Cap the Extra damage at 5% or make it per 200 Mana or cap it at 3k Mana or something else. With other words cut it im Halve and its still good and get things killed without beeing OP.

Lightning Conduit:
Strong because of the double Shock Node,Gem Scaling, Archmage and more...
Give it a huge cooldown like hammer of the gods or something or maybe the other suggestions from me will nerfed it already i dont now. Simple to Strong atm for beeing capable of One shooting pinnacle bosses with 30+ Million EHP.


Poisonous Concoction and its Variations:
- Reduce the base damage of these skills.
Its simply to strong like archmage etc at bosses.

OR make it Unnarmed again. You can scale it to hard with a Good Quiver and the Widowhail Unique Bow.

Attribute Stacking:

Its OP? If you Press 6 Diffenrent 6 Link Skills "pianolike" at a Boss yeah.
2-3 Button builds still Strong?

Yes, but its the most expensive Build in the Game. Was in PoE1 and is right now in PoE2. So for me it has the right to do so. Its Like a chase Items, hard to get for casuals, but feels good when you have it.A Chase-Build/Archetype in that case.

But Hands of Wisdom and Action needs to be nerfed.
Same as above cut it Values in Halve. Most problems solved.
For my understanding its OP, because you can slap it on an all Bow skill etc to have a significant damage boost if you have a bit int or dex for the attackspeed.
Cut it in halve. Its only good for Attribute Stacker then.

Pillar of the Caged God:
Needs a Nerf? In Values i Dont thing so, but it needs to became a rarer item/drop a so called chase unique. Its way to common for its "power".

Its not really OP, because you can only use it at Attribut Stacker and Quarterstaff Skills. Unlike HoWa that you can slap on all attack builds.


Cast On Damage Taken Builds:
The so called Barrier Invocation Demon-Mommy(Demonform)Builds:
i cast unlimited Comets or other skills to kill Every Monster,Boss and THE FREAKING GAME SERVERS with infinite Damage.

Please remove that shit. Thats OVERPOWERT Shit. Nearly Zero Investment but you Destroy Monsters,Bosses, your Pc and the Game Servers.

Old Cast on Freez,Shock or the ongoing Cast on Minion Death Comets Builds are nothing against that shit.

Same for the Temporalis and Choir of the Storm interaction.

Temporalis Exploit:

Was already fixed, i dont know if its still ongoing.
thats early acces shit, it happens. just remove all temporalis from the game. If you want one farm or buy a new one. If you had one, you must already farmed enough for a new legit one.

Does it destroyed the economy? Hell no. Divine to exalteds ratios are normal.
Just the one chase item is ruined on the marked and the exploiter have a lot of currency.

Simple Solution:

Remove all temporalis from the Game one time and Bann the exploiter Permamently from the Game. Case closed. Maybe trackable from the zone resetting history? if something like that exist i dont know. Just my Thought on that case.

Rarity and Quantity of Items Found:

Is it OP? Yes and No.
Rarity is not OP. If you can slap 200% Rarity into your Gear you double your Exalt drops on Paper and get more Rare and Uniques Items.

Where it becomes OP is in the interaction with Quantity.
So Quantity is the Real Problem. Remove Groupquant(Quant per Party Member) like Poe1, when its there.I am not sure, but i assume it.

But you may ask how do you Stack quant then, when you cant have it on gear?

Simple,

Its a stat from tablets. Search for regions with 5-10 Towers in range, slap Quantity tablets on them and you get 50-100 Quant Maps by default.
Then you can hope for a Atlas passives prog for double effect of tables etc and you reach easy 100-200% Quantity Maps and above with a white waystone. Thats when its raining alot of Currency and Divines Drops in Breaches etc.

So Nerf Quant Values in Tables, like maximum 5 Quant per Tablet or so. Current maximum is 20%.

Thats all i can thing of at the moment, no wait three more Points:

1.On Death Effects:

Are you Guys psychopath(Thats a joke)?
The On Death Effects in the Game are capable of One Shooting 10k Mana Mind over Matter Builds with ease.

Poor Life based Guys, who running around with 2-5k Life at best, there are Dead 2-3 times in one Death. Thats Overkill, but yeah surely thats a Early Access thing, i really hope it is.

Remove them, make them more clear, make them linger longer before detonating or nerf them, there is a reason why they got removed/nerfed in PoE1.


2. Map Layouts:

Are the current Maplayouts the revenge for Videos like " I Torture my self in 100 Cells Maps" from Empyrean and other streamers i cant think of?

Why are 80% of the Maplayout Cells-Like Layout with 100 of collisions Objects in them? I get stuck at houndreds of trees, stones, Leafes etc.

Just Why??

I guess Because.

Please let us costumize the atlas node like Favoured Maps or something in that direction.

For The Rest of the Game, i love it for now. Crafting is Hard, but Good Items have good Value now. I am a fan of it.

Bosses look amazing. Acts are a little to big but yeah we will see in the future.

Thats it from me. Hate it or Love it thats my thoughts on the Early Access so far.
