Map events are unplayable at higher tiers

I have capped resistances, decent gear, and overall setup. Very defensive build and crush mob packs, clear entire maps to get completion. Backtrack to events like rituals, lockboxes, etc. then get mob trapped and die (even with blink 2 charges) the placement of these events are unplayable, MAYBE if I had normal space to run around and not 50% of the event area blocked off + wall objects in the way I could enjoyably do the content. There's ground mechanics that spawn during these events you cannot stand in, but it's literally impossible with 50% of the event space blocked. Breaches can be very bad too, but you can kinda cheese them by walking backwards at the front of the breach, not very fun to play like that. I'm not playing a meta map clearing build, but at this point I feel obligated to create an entire new character to do the end game content, I just skip all events except bosses at this point, not worth the XP loss, sucks. Guess I gotta run stormweaver or something like it or might just take a break idk. Also, these are not juiced maps, they are normal it's happening on, it's not about skill it's about RNG, event design, and meta builds.
