Mob ailment or debuff status indicator is still the absolute worst
![]() Ailment status in poe2 might as well not exist, its so useless. Trying to gauge ailments in a pack of mobs or trying to avoid mechanics is just not at all useful. Poe2 was supposed to improve in visual status clarity but it is not delivering on that capability. What would help is: simply allow players to be able to mouse or controller over a mob and read their status while the game is paused. This gets you your extra time consumption design goal (slowing the game down) while also delivering on an actual improvement over poe1, enabling players to make strategic informed decisions during encounters. Also the alignment on many of the ailments are really scuffed, shifting status values well out from under the relevant affliction (see image). Further some of the icons are so similar to each other its impossible to grok during combat. tldr Monster debuff status indicators, are all but useless outside of boss fights with a static health bar. Adding the ability to asses the situation while paused should provide %100 more in-combat clarity. Yet another unpaid Path of Exile 2 Alpha Tester. Last bumped on Jan 7, 2025, 3:56:48 PM
