Easy way to get lightning rod notable (for sparkers)

Just path there and put some decent jewels along the way.

Never thought about it, never seen it mentioned it guides, but it spiked my boss and clear times by at least 2x. This is for the cast on shock conduit setup. Also must put in controlled destruction for spark, even though it shows almost no dps increase it's actually massive, like I'm guessing 50% more.

In theory good jewels are worth 4 skill points, so if you spend them wisely on good 2-3 good affixes you don't lose too much power.

Spent a million gold trying out different tree variations, by far doing the stupid thing and pathing to lightning rod made the biggest difference. Everything gets shocked so fast because of higher lightning rolls, and you get to that magical zone where you can't even see the mobs because they are vaporized upon entering your screen.

But it´s waaay far on the other side of the tree.

Its probably giving very much extra damage as lightning skills are like random almost 0 to max damage every hit.
Roll that random 2 times and pick the best outcome, this will give much better damage.

Cant you just anoint the amulet with distilled emotions, the delirium thingys you get in the maps.

Or isnt anointing working in the early access?
