Constant stuttering. CPU spiking on graph in-game

After running a few maps, my game starts to stutter every few seconds. The performance graph in game indicates that the CPU is spiking, but task manager shows my CPU running fine at ~30% usage. Restarting the game fixes the issue for a while, but it comes right back, so it seems to be something wrong with the game. My framerate and latency are stable as well.

Makes the game practically unplayable unless I restart every 15 minutes, which is very annoying.

So I just noticed something crazy... The spikes coincide exactly with whenever I receive a chat message in global/trade, even when I have those channels disabled.

I changed to empty chat channels and the games runs smooth. Why the hell is chat pegging the CPU latency?

Same issue as OP. Don't have chat enabled at all. Started around when the exploits were fixed.

I have the exact same issue. 10700KF cpu, 5700XT gpu. The cpu keeps having intermittent spikes like this, and restarting the game clears them up for a while, but they come back especially if alt-tabbing a lot. Then I have to restart the game again.

Try joining a random global and trade chat channel with no one else in it. Totally resolved the issue for me (though it is still ridiculous).

So far so good. Played a bit and alt-tabbed a lot. This might actually work. I will edit this message if the issue persists. Goddamn, that is ridiculous.
