My FeedBack -

After a few weeks of play, here are my impressions of my experience of POE 2 (beta version)... The feedback since this part of the forum is dedicated to that:

At first I was really fascinated by the graphics that I find really superb.

But I quickly became disillusioned because even if the graphics are very very good. there are many places where it is confusing. We do not distinguish certain mobs (many mobs by the way) which are too blended into the landscape which means that we end up getting hit and we do not even realize where it comes from while the mob is right next to the player... result, premature death and frustration.

So yes, we are told a difficult game. But here, we are in the very very abusive difficulty. It's simple, we hardly loot anything in the first 3 acts and the mobs and especially the bosses are clearly impossible to do solo because their difficulty is just aberrant compared to the power we can get with the little equipment we find or that we can if we have incredible luck buy from an NPC.

Not to mention their regeneration which goes faster than the decrease in their life... Simply because we have no way to improve our stuff.

To be able to trade with other players, we would have to at least loot currencies... there it is the limit of the non-existent. Ridiculous!

In addition as soon as we are finally out of the endless acts! Bam! We have to do them again in cruel mode!

I understand that it is temporary but given the time it took to release this beta version and the delay of several years... I expected a little more finished content than that.

Let's move on to the End game part in the Atlas:

I admit that I quite like the Delve-style atlas system where we gradually discover the vast world of POE2.

But again the lack of loot, in this case, the tiles that act as a map and very largely insufficient and you are forced to buy from Doryani and unfortunately, it only allows you to buy levels 1 and on rare occasions a higher level card.. you will tell me that you can recombine the cards by placing 3 to have a higher level one but when you already reach level 4 it becomes ridiculously expensive and long...
Having to work so hard just to be able to open a map, it's complete nonsense!

And placing the talent points that allow you to have a better chance of getting more requires me to validate maps that I have not yet managed to get since they do not fall... so it's the snake biting its tail.

Especially if we have the misfortune to die in a map, it's simple, we can't go back there. All these efforts to obtain it destroyed just for one death. Again an abusive frustration system.

I think GGG has forgotten the usefulness of a game. Here it's more like a daily job. I already have a job in real life. Thanks.

Also, the hideout. Why not allow one to have one in the acts like in POE 1? Again a headache of several days to finally find one and obtain it. Frustration, frustration and more frustration.

Finally, the Trials of Ascendancy. Become of a completely unjustified difficulty, completely painful with the most painful systems in the history of painful systems.

In addition there is a Bug! No way to receive the stone that allows you to do the 3rd test ... and when you finally get a stone, this test is undoable So much this honor system is a calamity. Again and again frustration .. I am at level 76 and I still have not been able to do this 3rd trial.

Lots of people tell me "but pay a player who sells carry services to pass it!!"

I find it incredible to get to this point. I bet that 80% of players pay other players to pass their Ascendancy because they are so impossible. Another system that is too much too punitive. Frustration and more frustration.

It's simple, I decided that I would skip Ascendancy 3 and 4 since I have a hard time finding a stone that allows me to do it and I am completely incapable of doing it and there is no way I am going to empty the stock of the few exas that I have had so much trouble accumulating until now.

Let's talk about gems: Putting the sockets on the gems rather than on the material is forcing players to stay on an attack or a spell without giving them the possibility to change because, again, the loot is not sufficient in terms of orbs which allow adding sockets to the gems. We hardly dare to use them because they don't fall off. There it becomes pathetic.

Also, the game is sorely lacking in vendor recipes. Not to mention that the crafting system has become non-existent... while the crafting system and vendor recipes were precisely among the best assets of POE1. I really hope that it will be reintegrated in the final version of the 2nd.

I really wonder if this game doesn't have only one goal: to frustrate the player again and again... It's certainly a game for GGG, but for normal people it's called masochism... I'm not a masochist.

You offer us to test the game but there is so little loot that allows to test properly and the game is so hard and punitive that it vaccinates the players to want to even do a reroll…

In short, it remains a very good game but far too frustrating...

Greetings

PS: I can already see the reactions of players excited by the difficulty who will come and tell me that I should play another game if I don't like the difficulty. That's your point, I respect it. But I have my point of view, respect it too.

Also, to all those who come to say that the game is very easy while they play in standard mode and not in hardcor, who in addition copy a build because they are incapable of getting by by discovering by themselves. Stop being hypocrites! Following a Build and come to say that the game is too easy, it's just stupid. And if it's to copy a build, you might as well open Twitch and watch a guy play in your place.

I don't like hardcore ARPG's and it's okay if you do not also. PoE 1 is much better suited for us. I will leave a nice comment because we know the GET GUD poe crowd will come next lol
PoE 1 is the best. PoE 2 is something.
