More mobs pushing my Monk so I can't f'ing swing/evade
I think we need more fucking mobs that push you around so much your monk won't even swing his fucking weapon. then swarm you so much from every side you can't fucking evade them either. Oh why not add more AOE to the ground too while you're at it to make these fights kill you even quicker...

There really needs to be ways for some [every?] class to not get pushed around -- and I'm not talking about dodge rolling even more than what is otherwise expected.
IF one of the points of PoE2 is to have a more thoughtful, deliberate, strategic / tactical game then controlling your position should be one of the most important parts of that. Maybe give the "Warrior" area of the tree some type of Stand-Firm or Juggernaut node to help with this. Maybe give the "Monk" area of the tree some option to evade / phase / ignore push attempts as they flow like water around their enemies. ... I'm sure we could all think of similar sorts of tree passives, active skills / supports, something that could be used to solve these sorts of issues. |

There were so many of them pushing me around that the monk wouldn't even swing. I know by the image it looks like I ran out into the middle of the group of mobs so it should be "My fault" right? NO, they pushed me from below up into all those mobs, then those pushed me into the wall/blocked area that I couldn't get around. So no dodging out, no attacks to be able to kill some of them. WTF are we to do. THEN I lose my only tier 15 map.... |

This feels awful same with stun locks or freeze locks.
What's worse is trying to actually do a move to get away but then getting interrupted as well. There doesn't seem to be a pathing escape option for any movement skill either? |

" Ya I was walking threw a stair case and the mobs charged as soon as they saw me, I had no where to go since I was on a stair case, and the pushed me like 2 screen lengths and pined me up against a pillar. I was thinking "WTF was that", and it's not like you can stop them if your melee attack has one of these stupid huge warrior windups. The only counterplay at the moment is aoe clear screen, you hit first you don't die...which ties to get good damage. Then you only get recked by map layout and after deaths.

" But you have to get that damage off. My AoE is very good, but, I am playing Molten Blast, once it's in the air it literally flies right over the mobs. So If they are charging you are screwed. Molten Blast has a very long windup. Excellent AoE but damn it takes a LONG time to use. That's the problem, these mobs charge just as fast as you do. So Chances of you getting out of the way can be nearly zero with certain modifiers on certain terrains. The game is quickly divulging into PoE 1 Instant explosive damage >>> anything else in the game, so much that you need to build this way. And then we know why only 2% of the top 1000 are warriors. |

I really like the down tempo of the campaign, half of mechanics aren't suited to the frenzied map gameplay dodge is great in campaign too slow for mapping. Titan slam should have stun threshold upped to make sense when 20 mobs rush you. Well that's what you get when you got 2 different combat designs for campaign and maps. I thought people were overreacting until I hit t15 juiced breaches, even game engine gives out at that point.

Dodge, duck, dip, dive, and dodge. Most importantly, Dodge. The whole game was calibrated around the Dodge roll. It should be your most commonly used action, especially if you’re melee.
