High tier variants of unique items.

Tiered system of normal items(base items, bases, white items without affixes, items with a normal rarity) came into the PoE from Diablo II. Three tiers with same picture but different unique stats and unique name for each tier. Each tier according to one of three difficulty levels(Normal, Nightmare and Hell).
If I remember correctly, then in Diablo II like in PoE 1 specific unique item may spawns only when specific base item drops and gets a "unique" rarity.

On resouses with info about Diablo II three tiers of base items is called Normal, Exceptional and Elite. Similar situation in game in PoE 2: <basename>, "Advanced <basename>" and "Expert <basename>". Again, if i'm right, unique items in PoE II spawn only on low tier bases, first one tier.

1. Are names such as "Advanced <basename>" and "Expert <basename>" just placeholders, and unique names for each base will be added in the future, аnd after tnat new unique items will be added accordingly to these bases?

2. Or are they not placeholders, and Advanced and Expert variants of existing unique items will be added? Imagine stats of Advanced and Expert items multiplied by local stats from unique items such as #%physical damage, #%armor/evasion/es. Мaybe all unique items will get high tier variants, maybe not. Drop chance? А question of balance.

3. Оr 1., but the developers won't change the names?

Also, sorry for my English.

I think they are placeholders. When they will replace them and if they will replace them all is something else. I mean at this point they are basically just skins
i think having advanced and expert versions is way better than having 60 different types of gloves for example
