prediction for big EA patch vs 3.26 timing

I predict GGG will time the first big patch to Path of Elden before 3.26 so as to lose less players to the Real Path of Exile.

They won't lose anyone. They will just have split groups of players between their 2 games.
POE 1 players will try out the new league, while the new ones will stick to POE 2. Sure, the new ones will probably try POE 1 as well, but quit pretty fast; as they always do. |

I wouldn't count or hype myself with a "big EA patch" tbh, it's best to low your expectations.

Unless they start pouring MTX into PoE2 they'll definitely want people back in PoE1

Nah, they'll just abandon poe 1, releasing some boring necropolis-tier leagues.
