Consolidated PoE 2 Feedback after 91 hours to complete the campaign.

Preface: This is my game of the year, and one of the most fun games I've ever played. GGG did a magnificent job.
Quality of Life: Weapons do not have an indicator that they have skill gems. More than once I have upgraded my weapons and forgotten to remove the skill gems first. Others have said they salvaged/sold their weapons without realizing this. Skills tied to weapons should be upgradeable with skill gems. One issue I faced was being stuck with a lower level Chaos Bolt wands and Skeletal Minion scepters because I could not find suitable replacements. When a piece of equipment has an attribute modifier, that should be taken into account when trying to equip it. If I need 6 more int to equip a wand, and the wand has +6 int, I should be able to equip it. Please make vertical stash tab list available for PC users that play with controller. I play with controller but mouse & keyboard is more efficient and has more features when managing inventory. Unable to see ground debuffs during combat: In Manor Ramparts and Ogham Manor, it is very difficult to see the pools of Corrupt Blood on the ground with the many firewalls. An icon on screen indicating a ground debuff is nearby would be helpful. During campaign, the rare currency drops are so rare that it made me want to save them rather than engage with the crafting system. It's not worth using an exalt to chance get a single good modifier when it's more prudent to save them for trade. Over very light terrain, the map overlay is difficult to see when it is just an outline (which is how I prefer it). It would be nice if the color of the outline could adjust itself based on the lightness/darkness of the terrain. Difficulty: Overall, I think the difficulty is fair. The game always felt just a bit more difficult than my character was strong, which added a nice feeling of tension that remained throughout the entire campaign. Trials of Chaos: I know unlocking ascendency points is supposed to feel like an achievement, but the debuffs are too strong, and I had to wait until level 52 before I could get my second set of points. I haven't tried for the third set because of how bad my experience has been. Bugs: Unable to salvage a flask with quality Ziggurat Encampment. The error message was as if the item did not have quality. In normal difficulty Act 3, interacting with Servi caused the Temple Door Idol to disappear from my inventory but progress the quest. This did not happen in Cruel difficulty. In cruel difficulty, Troubled Camp, Rootdredge, and Bubbling Respite did not clear (turn gray) from the Quests screen. For Bubbling Respite, I brought all the ingredients and took the rewards. I may not have taken the rewards in the other cases. Progress is not saved when quitting the game during Dreadnought Vanguard. I quit the game about 25% of the way through and when I reloaded I was back at the waypoint with all monsters respawned. There is a Checkpoint next to a Door in The Drowned City that is not accessible--at least for players who use a controller. Great game! Thank you very much! Last bumped on Jan 2, 2025, 9:52:38 PM
